The idea for this sweater came from two loves – firstly, I was infatuated with the new SandnesGarn yarn Hanneli, which is an extremely soft 100% merino wool yarn with just the right thickness to make a cozy winter sweater. Secondly, as usual the shoemakers kids are the ones walking around barefoot, which means that I had to make a mends and make my son Henri, who is a little over two years old, a sweater. This is also where the name “Henri” came from.
It is a very simple pattern, great for beginners. This straight lined sweater is accentuated by the double-collar, the middle part of which is knitted with shortened rows, so it’s nice and warm around the neck.
SandnesGarn Hanneli, 50 g = 90 m, 100% merino wool – 2/3/3 skeins as the main color, 1/2/2 the contrasting color
